Babes in Praiseland

‘Amen’ was one of our daughters’ first words.

“Do You hear what these children are saying?’

‘Yes,’ Jesus told them. ‘Have you never read:

You have prepared praise
from the mouths of children and nursing infants (Matthew 21:16b HCSB)?”

Bless their hearts!

The Lord hears the prayers of ‘babes in praiseland.’

When working with infants in childcare ministries, I led them in lunchtime grace.

‘A Child’s Grace’ [Author: E. Rutter Leatham/ Public Domain]

“Thank you for the world so sweet;
Thank you for the food we eat,
Thank you for the birds that sing;
Thank you, God, for everything.”

Such simple words, yet profound. Thank you.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
His faithful love endures forever (Psalm 107:1 HCSB).”

Can I get an Amen?
