Let's celebrate; it’s Christmas.

Many people will purchase traditional greenery wreaths from their favorite florists.

You might be surprised by the variety of wreaths as well as by their locations.

Colorful wreaths will appear on doors of homes; churches and business too.

Christmas wreaths are one way of welcoming visitors.

Welcome; won’t you come in?

Angels and shepherds welcomed Jesus to the world.

“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.’

When the angels had departed from them into heaven, the shepherds began saying to one another, ‘Let’s go straight to Bethlehem, then, and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.’ And they came in a hurry and found their way to Mary and Joseph, and the baby as He lay in the manger. When they had seen Him, they made known the statement which had been told them about this Child (Luke 2:14-17 NASB).”

The Bethlehem Child grew to a man.

In mockery, soldiers crowned Him King of the Jews with a (‘wreath’) crown of thorns!

“And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and placed it on His head, and put a purple cloak on Him; and they repeatedly came up to Him and said, ‘Hail, King of the Jews! and slapped Him in the face again and again (John 19:2-3 NASB).”
