Come to Me

A parent watches as their child breaks a well established rule.

Come to me.

Caught in the act, the child goes directly to father or mother. Ashamed, they hear tender but firm correction.

A parent watches as their child struggles with a problem.

Come to me.

Overwhelmed, the child goes and sits down next to dad or mom. Sharing their confusion, they listen for guidance.

A father hears the cry of his child during a nighttime thunderstorm.

Come to me.

Shaking, the child runs to the protection of dad’s arms.

A father sees his child get off a school bus after a hard day. Head down, the child shuffles his feet up toward the house.

Dad opens the front door.

Come to me.

"I'm coming!"

The LORD cares for us.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28 NASB).”
