On the Thanksgiving Menu

Iíve celebrated Thanksgiving Day in homes, at a picnic table in a Southern California campground and in restaurants. I probably spent at least one Thanksgiving in the cab of an 18 wheeler. My husband drove cross country for several years and his dispatchers didnít always get us home in time for holidays.

Thanksgiving instructions...

Apostle Paulís message reads like a good recipe. There are 3 ingredients.

1 Rejoice

2 Pray

3 Give thanks

We can do that at anytime and anywhere.

ďRejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit, do not utterly reject prophecies, but examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will do it (1 Thessalonians 6:16-24 NASB).Ē

Rejoicing, prayer and thanksgiving go together like turkey, dressing and pumpkin pie.

I donít want to skip anything on the Thanksgiving menu!
