Fruit to Glorify the Father

With grateful heart, I pray that you and I will be cornucopia Christians; filled to overflowing with fruit of the Spirit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23 HCSB).”

Ornamental squash and gourd table arrangements are an American Thanksgiving tradition. Cornucopias are available in a variety of sizes and adorn dining room tables during the holiday festivities.

Church members and visitors enter through welcoming vestibules. There, they frequently view cornucopia-horn of plenty arrangements as they enter and walk into the sanctuary.

The cornucopia is a symbol of a bountiful harvest, serving as a reminder of how much the heavenly Father blesses us through fruit and produce of the land.

We have received Christ’s promise of an abundant life; He is pleased when we as His followers serve in unity to bear fruit and demonstrate His love.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be My disciples (John 15:5-8 HCSB).”
