Do you have a sense of urgency?

No, Iím not promoting bladder control products but that serves as a good introduction.

Do you hear rumbling from your stomach when youíve missed a meal?

It is hard to ignore a sense of urgency. Do I ignore the Holy Spiritís promptings? He compels us to share the gospel with a lost and dying world.

The Apostle Paul felt things deeply. His heart was broken because he knew the urgent need of his own people. Like them, he had once rejected Jesus as Messiah. Christ transformed the life of Saul at Damascus Road. Following his conversion, he served as evangelist, church planter and missionary.

ďI tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen (Romans 9:1-5 NKJV).Ē
